Do Some Good for the Community When You Dine at Light House Bistro

Light House Bistro is a social enterprise café and restaurant, providing living wage employment for individuals experiencing homelessness. The 50-seat bistro and coffee bar also provides an advanced culinary training center for graduates of the Light House’s culinary arts training program in order to create sustainable employment with an increase in income and opportunities for those in need.

The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and inviting, with exposed brick walls and an open concept kitchen. The bistro is all about reclaiming lives, making it fitting that the space is decorated with all reclaimed and repurposed materials and antiques. Support the Light House’s mission with a delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner, or hot latte from the coffee bar. Start your meal off with a bucket of the popular hand-cut fries with house spices and garlic mayo, and then try the meatloaf served with smashed Yukon gold potatoes, crispy shallots, and red pepper coulis for the perfect comfort food dinner.
