Head Outside for Yoga on the Labyrinth This Summer

Head Outside for Yoga on the Labyrinth This Summer

When Leslie Gibbons first got into yoga herself, she found immediate relief from anxiety and depression, issues that she’d struggled with all her life. It only made sense that she’d want to share this practice with as many people as possible, which is why she founded Root To Rise Yoga. Through Root To Rise, she hosts yoga classes in the community, often in schools, to spread its benefits. She’ll also head up Yoga on the Labyrinth this summer and fall.

Leslie’s class schedule usually includes twice-monthly sessions held on Saturdays, Tuesdays, or Mondays now through the end of October. She’ll set up shop on the Labyrinth outside at the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts at 10 a.m. for Saturday classes and 6 p.m. for weeknight classes. Bring along a mat and a water bottle to join in the beginner-appropriate practice this summer.
