Grab a Pint at Newly Debuted Ornery Beer Company
When Randy Barnette was traveling the around the country gathering ideas for his own brewpub, a good friend at Mad Fox Brewing suggested the perfect name: Ornery Beer Company. Randy was in on the joke—he knew “ornery” referred to his own subdued personality. And he agreed that it was somehow the perfect moniker for his new brewery and gastropub, which just debuted a few weeks ago.
Randy and his team work with seasoned brewers, like those at Mad Fox and other well-known breweries, to craft their signature suds. From New England IPAs to Belgian-style witbiers, the draft list boasts a wide variety of options. Meanwhile, the kitchen slings modern American grub, from fried pickles and house-made pretzels to burgers and jagerschnitzel. They also have decadent desserts like bread pudding and house-made cheesecake on tap.
