Enjoy a Historic Tour of Annapolis This Summer

Have you ever wondered how the streets of Annapolis looked 50 years ago? A century ago? Learn the answers to your burning history buff questions when you join a Historic Tour of Annapolis. Launched by Annapolis Transportation as a safe way to enjoy some sightseeing during the pandemic, these small group tours are enjoyed entirely from the comfort of a spacious shuttle van.

The tours will continue this month and through the rest of the summer, so you have plenty of opportunities to climb aboard. Snag tickets for your chosen date and time ($13+), then come to the Annapolis Visitor Center a few minutes before the bus departs to join your group. Then kick back as a knowledgeable guide tells the story of Annapolis, starting with its role as a colonial seaport. Learn all about its marinas and the United States Naval Academy, as well as the city’s role as the state capital and county seat. If you want to set up a private tour to local breweries, wineries, or another destination, call or email Annapolis Transportation to learn about the different options they offer.
