Catch Grease at Movies Under the Stars’ Final Show of the Season on September 24th

Every month this summer, Annapolis has hosted a starlit movie night right in the heart of town. As summer winds to a close, Movies Under the Stars will hold one more special screening on Wednesday, September 24th—just a few days after fall makes its grand debut. September’s film is Grease, a nod to the iconic recently departed Olivia Newton-John, who rose to international fame as a result of the classic flick.

Don your poodle skirts, grab your ticket ($10 per family), and pack your lawn chairs and blankets to witness Danny and Sandy fall in love on the big screen. Show up early if you want to snag a free bag of popcorn (only the first 100 guests get one) and then set up your chairs or blanket in the town center before the movie begins at 8 p.m. Sing along with Sandy, Danny, and their friends as they belt out now-iconic ballads like Hopelessly Devoted To You and Summer Nights. The Movies Under the Stars go on rain or shine. If there’s rain in the forecast, you’ll simply enjoy the film drive-in style.
